Avulsion

I was going to write out a model answer for one of the question and need definition for the term, avulsion. So I googled it and there was this image of injury that looks so disgusting came out. (Knowing me, whenever I see lots of blood coming out or deep cut injury, I would say disgusting.) Go google it then you know what I mean.

Anyway, it is a geological term that I wanted to look for. It means the rapid abandonment of a river channel and formation of a new channel.

Now I gotta write about how rivers shifted and what makes them shifted, blah blah.. must be boring for some people. Hahaha.. now break ends and I shall get back to writing the story of a river. =P
