I watch these

I think I should write movie reviews for the ones I have watched. Seriously, I watched a lot. I just finished watching Deep Blue Sea on tv. I don’t know what year is the movie but I think it’s quite old.

It’s about sharks being injected with some smart cells and they are smarter than humans. So they attacked the human beings who used the sharks as lab rat. So there were 7 of them and only 2 survived in the end with injuries.

Last week, I watched Poseidon on tv. Something like Titanic but the ship didn’t hit ice berg. They were hit by tsunami and the ship overturned. Some people survived the ship overturning, only 1% of them continued to the bottom of the ship (which is now at the top), some died along the way and some survived at the end. They reached the bottom, broke out of the ship’s anchor hole and survived. The ship sank just as they got out from it.

Movies are like that huh..

There was a hot air balloon accident in Wellington on Saturday. 11 died, 5 couples and 1 pilot. Scares me, I don’t want to go up to hot air balloon. I mean, they said this incident shouldn’t make going on hot air balloons unsafe. Even the movie deep blue sea scares me. I don’t like sharks, don’t like the idea of being eaten/bitten by sharks. Or going on cruise and got stranded.

I don’t mind being put in San Francisco drug alcohol rehab treatment center but not those. Oh but people will think that I am alcoholic when I don’t even drink. Lol.. Ok, I take it back. =P

ahhh i really dont know what to blog about.
a bit of update since the last i blogged, i have practised one round of guitar, helped a friend to assemble a study desk (but we have only done halfway through - takes a lot of energy >____< guess im not as strong as i thought i was), cooked pasta bake for the first time (and told it tasted nice so phew) and am very thirsty now.

i should go and eat a pear.

Lazy me

Guess what, I always forget to sign off my posts as myself. The dafault is by sis so I always have to change the name when I see it. Lol… this week is a little busy for us. Potluck dinner on Wednesday night with friends and dinner on Thursday night with a high school friend who is coming down to Christchurch for the weekend. Then weekend, I think we are doing up the garden and perhaps have someone coming to put up auto motor to the garage. Oh yeah, need to wash the car too.

I thought it was raining the weekend before but it didn’t so had to postpone it. Well forecast said raining this week. I mean, the rain can wash away some dirt on the car but they do leave some dirt on the windscreen and I don’t like it. Oh this weekend, darling’s cousin from welly is coming down so might be spending time. Hoho see how busy we are.

I think ex-colleague from Napier is coming down too but I am not sure which weekend she is coming down. Lol.. At least there’s always things I look forward to the weekend instead of urgh.. I have nothing to look forward to.. =P

I recently order my work uniform for myself. It’s quite good that the company gives allowance for employees to buy the uniforms. Even though I order, I still have to alter the skirt and pants because they’re too long for me. The waist is fine though. I wear black most of the time, hoho.. looks depressing because all black. Well nurses uniforms are not that depressing because they wear white colour right? Hehehe..

Ignore me

The weather is supposed to be miserable from weekend onwards but the weekend was so nice. I managed to wash and get some clothes dry. A friend is leaving us to go out of country and may not come back here if she found a job in her home country. Sigh.. going to miss her and mosaic is going to lose one person to help out with things. This friend does help quite a bit at mosaic so it’s not going to be the same without her. Anyway, I should  be wishing her all the best not moaning about losing her. =P

Last week, I asked myself what is wrong with the people around me because they kept asking the questions they could have answered themselves instead of asking me. I think it was the time of the month so this week since my mood is much better. Seriously it’s just plain annoying questions. Urgh.. enough of these..

Need to start planning resolutions. I thought planning resolutions are wasting time because sometimes you don’t do them or get things done but darling thinks we should have them. So ok, we will have to give it a try. It’s not that I won’t do just that I always get the influence from darling that we delay things then end up not doing them.

Sigh.. I should stop complaining about things but can’t help thinking about them. I may not show them in my actions but I sure know how to put them here. Hohoho..  It’s nearly mid January. Summer is ending next month and then it’s autumn. Gosh.. I should start taking out my winter jackets. I want to look around for marmot jackets because they do look very comfy and warm. I should eh… =P

hahhaa.. just joking. i don’t really know what to blog about because it has been so long since i’ve blogged and it is very difficult to get back into that mindset.

i am so bored at home, watching dramas everyday - doing the laundry, cleaning, cooking….
but at least i am improving in my guitar strumming.
i am currently learning zombie by the cranberries.
for someone without musical talents like me, im contented enough that my concentration got me as far as the chorus now i just gotta slowly ease in some singing along. hehe

You need to eat

Right, I have been putting off posting about my ice cream maker because I have been posting about other stuff and also, because I forgot. Oops.. I haven’t got a photo of my ice cream though. I just google this photo. It is exactly the same ice cream maker that I have. It just stirs the cream inside. I do have to boil and mix up everything and cool it overnight before putting into this ice cream maker.

I am going to try other flavours. First time, I had to change to make oreo ice cream because I didn’t realize the tea I had was not green tea. Second time was green tea gelato. Green tea ice cream for the third time wasn’t too bad. I brought it over for potluck dinner with friends. There were a lot of food and we had to ask the rest of others not to bring any. Gosh, I had the awesome-est soup. It’s something that mummy always cook. The vege one and I love it so much because I haven’t had it for some time. Need to get Private Household Cook Jobs huh if I want a cook like mummy. Hahaha

Christmas baking competition

This post is a little overdue. These food photo was taken last month at work when we had Christmas baking competition in the department. We ate them for morning tea. It was awesome. I mean, they do look very nice but some of the insides are not very nice, that is my opinion because I am quite picky with cakes. I don’t like some flavours.

Oh I do remember I posted one post with the gingerbread house. Yes, that was one of them. Seriously, some of us who bake so nice could be doing their own business. Of course, not everyone can handle it and not everyone has the capital or ideas on how to start it. Lol so I guess it becomes a hobby for them to bake. =) If they do want to do something like that, they probably want to do a big truck tracking of the ingredients and make loads to sell.

Actually, if someone is committed, you don’t need to quit your day job, you can part time earn the money. Yes, it might not be much but it still means something. For those who are single and have nothing much to do at home in the evenings, this is one that you may do. Haha.. I feel like I am instructing people what to do with their life.

This Dvd made us glued to the tv

We were going to watch this DVD during Christmas but we finished it before Christmas started. Hoho.. my fault because I thought well, we don’t have movies to watch so let’s start watching. Because there were 40 episodes so we spent 3 weeks watching using any spare time we have.

I, officially don’t like to watch drama because some of the scenes are really unnecessary and too dramatic. It just made me wonder if an ex-friend who act so dramatic, did watch a lot of dramas until she made her life like that. I haven’t seen her so I assume that she no longer lives here. I call her ex-friend because she is the one who doesn’t want to talk to me even though I didn’t betray her. It was just because I was a friend of the friend she calls betrayer. If you know the whole story, you would have the same thought as me. But that’s all in the past. I am ready to forgive her and be her friend if she is ready to be a mature adult.
